GOIL, he said, was sending a message of excellence as a proud, devoted Ghanaian entity.

The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Afotey Agbo, lauded the choice of Azumah Nelson and asked GOIL to join hands with him to celebrate what is good about Ghana. Referring to the petroleum sector, he commended the decision to deregulate the sector, adding it had guaranteed regular supply of fuel and ensured competition in prices.

Azumah Nelson described GOIL as a shining example of Ghanaian institutions, adding it is a company worthy of support and growth. He encouraged Ghanaians to patronise GOIL’s products and promised to work hard to promote the brand to make Ghana proud.

A plaque of Azumah Nelson as the new ambassador was unveiled while a new four-wheel drive was put at his disposal.
