Some mobile money merchants in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi, on Tuesday massed up at one of MTN Ghana’s main offices after the company blocked the SIM cards they use for their businesses.
According to MTN Ghana, the affected agents failed to comply with the rules and regulations of its newly introduced ‘no ID card, no momo transaction’ policy.
The agents who were not happy with the development blamed the company for failing to sensitize them before implementing the policy.
