The ace waste management company in Ghana and west Africa, Zoomlion Ghana Limited is now eligible to participate in future World Bank projects. This is as a result of the company’s completion of the World Bank’s Corporate Compliance Programme.
“… I wish to officially inform you of the ICO’s determination that Zoomlion Ghana Limited and its sanctioned affiliates have satisfied the conditions of its release from sanction of debarment. The import of this release is that Zoomlion and its affiliates have as of September 23, 2015 become eligible to participate in World Bank funded and administered projects”, the World Bank Group’s Integrity Compliance Office at Washington DC, stated.
Dr. Joseph S. Agyepong, the Executive Chairman of Zoomlion Ghana Limited, said the Corporate Compliance Programme has brought a robust corporate code of ethics and integrity policies and procedures which now remain a hallmark of all our operations across Africa and further afield.
The Executive Chairman further stated that fast thriving companies as Zoomlion Ghana Limited is bound to face challenges of all sorts, but the manner in which “we acknowledge and respond to such challenges determine whether or not we will survive.
