A fitness fan has proved the Force is strong in Portland, US, by mapping out Star Wars routes while jogging.
Gene Lu used a fitness tracking app to record the routes he took, and posted the results on social media.
In the last month he has mapped out the face of a Stormtrooper, Darth Vader, a TIE fighter and an AT-AT transporter.
Mr Lu has also mapped out pictures of deer, dragons and famous landmarks as well as a series of Game of Thrones pictures.
He has posted the directions for his routes on his blog, and commented that runners wishing to follow his footsteps would need to “use the Force… and a phone”.
Mr Lu’s creative jogging routes were highlighted by news site The Next Web.
Drawing pictures on a map by using a running app has gained popularity on social media.
In 2014, one man even proposed to his partner by mapping out his message in the streets of Portsmouth.
However, anybody posting their own map creations, or regular running routes, online should take care not to reveal exactly where they live, as this could make them a target for thieves.
