Speaking at a media briefing in Accra last Friday, Mr. David Sharma, Advisor to QNET, said “Direct selling is simply the marketing of products and services directly to consumers through word-of-mouth manner, away from a retail location. Direct selling encompass a variety of distribution methods, multilevel marketing and network marketing are two types of distribution methods, multi-level marketing and network marketing are two types of distribution methods for QNET.
QNET is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and has grown from small, single products company to offering a wide range of high quality and service in 11 different product categories.
The company provides regular training programs, promote a strong ethical code of conduct, support distributors with marketing materials and business tools and source or develop right products for the diverse global customer base.
QNET has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) for the sponsorship of the CAF Champions LEAGUE and the CAF Confederation Cup for both 2018 to 2019.
QNET is also very socially responsible and actively support orphanages, differently-abled, children, disaster relief projects, environmental protection and food/water programs around the world and has participated in programs with the United Nations, UNICEF and Commonwealth Business Council.
On the sidelines with Mr. David Sharma, the Companies Advisor told Business Day the Local content base for “QNET is to employ Ghanaians to the respective agency offices, work closely with direct suppliers in Africa and globally at large.
“The growth of QNET is basically by word of mouth, through referrals, and recommendation from customers who have patronage products and services from QNET. The high pick of sales for QNET would be during the Ramadan and Christmas session”, he added.
