In the continuous effort of Standard Chartered Bank to meet the rising demands of the youth in Ghana’s digitally – savvy population, the Bank has launched the first social banking solution called “SC Key board “.
The SC Key board – based banking solution allows clients to transfer money in real-time, pay utility bills, and instantly check balances from within any social media platform or messaging platform.
Mr. Bossman Kwapong, the General Manager for Products, Retail Banking, for Standard Chartered Bank Ghana Limited, revealed “The SC Key board is an important milestone in the banks digital journey StandardChartered is leveraging on the best technology to make banking more convenient for customers, thereby enhancing service delivery”
The bank’s full digital bank on mobile – SC be configured as the default keyboard, on any smartphone, making banking quick and seamless for customers who no longer need to log into their SC mobile App for basic banking services.

Benefits for customers
Allow the banks customers to access a variety of financial services from with any social or messaging platform without having to open the banking App.
Payment of bills, view accounts balances and transfer money to their friends or family whilst on any social or messaging platform.
App interface
The SC Key board App, is a chat application like WhatsApp,Messenger, Twitter, LinkedIn and even traditional SMS, user can check their balances, pay bills, or send money to any Mobile wallet without having to exit their chat mode.
How to enjoy and access this App
To enjoy the seamless and easy access to banking by SC Key board clients need to:-
Install SC Mobile App and enable SC Key board in the device settings.
Select SC keyboard assume default keyboard and start using it.

Practical and attractive option such as a free debit card, which is delivered to a location of a client’s choosing, an account without no monthly ledger fees and no need to maintain a minimum balance in the account.
