Ghana’s COVID-19 cases have jumped to 1,042.
This was announced by President Akufo-Addo in a televised address to the nation on Sunday, 19 April 2020.
The increase in numbers is as a result of 68, 591 tests conducted.
Nine people have died from the disease while 99 people have recovered.
