The Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya and Minister of State in charge of Procurement, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has supported traders in her constituency with soft loans to help boost their businesses.
The New Patriotic Party’s first vice chairperson in the constituency, Mary Odonkor, explained that the gesture by the Deputy Majority Leader is aimed at supporting petty traders to grow their business.
She told Accra News’ Richard Appiah Sarpong: “This is an interest-free loan which will grow trading activities in her constituency to curb the growing hardship bedevilling them in the constituency.”
Over 100 traders have benefited from this move and she believes it will expand and grow their businesses in her constituency.
