Busy Internet now ‘Busy’ has launched a 4G data service to enable people living in the Greater Accra region to have access to high speed internet connection.
The launch marks a major leap since the company commenced operation in Ghana in 2001 as it rebrands with a new name and color of orange and red.
The package will offer consumers and businesses with an innovative and flexible range of 4G data packages, and MiFi, including Wireless Routers designed suit every need of customers.
“We have made sure that our innovative 4G service is fast, affordable, reliable and flexible; because that is what consumes told us was most important to them,” Chief Executive Officer of Busy, Mr. Praveen Sadalage said.
Mr. Sadalage stated that the organization has been able to meet the demands of Ghanaians by moving from being an Internet Service Provider (ISP) to a Customer Data Operator.
“We at Busy are excited over the many opportunities available to Ghanaians, when they upgrade to 4G”, he said adding that, “the Busy brand’s purpose is to Enrich Lives through connectivity”.
Mr. Sadalage used the opportunity to invite companies, institutions, entrepreneurs and the public to try the new 4G service.
He stressed that unlike the other service providers, Busy will make sure that they fulfill their promise of providing fast, affordable and reliable service to the people of Accra.
He stated that the service will be extended to other parts of the country very soon to enable Ghanaians enjoy high speed internet for productivity.
On his part, the Minister of Communications, DR. Edward Omane Boamah stated that recent investment in Information Communication Technology in the country has surged.
According to the Minister, a research conducted by the World Bank shows that an improvement in the country’s ICT connection contributes to 1% increase in GDP of that county.
He explained that a lot of people now use internet in their day to day activities since the world is now a global village.
He therefore congratulated Busy for upgrading their services at a time where Ghanaians required fast and reliable internet service.
