GCB Bank rewards customers in first monthly “Pa To Pa” promo draw

As part of its nationwide savings initiative to reward loyalty, promote deposits, and deepen customer engagement, GCB Bank has hosted the first monthly reward ceremony under its “Pa To Pa” Promotion. The event marked a key milestone in the Bank’s efforts to recognise and incentivize its customers.

The ceremony brought together customers and bank officials to celebrate the first set of winners since the promotion’s launch in December 2025.

Speaking at the event, Sina Kamagate, Executive Head of Retail Banking, explained that the promotion is designed to make everyday banking more rewarding by adding a competitive, gamified element to transactions.

“The Pa To Pa Promo allows our customers to gamify their transactions,” Mr. Kamagate said. “They come to GCB to run their businesses, earn income, and make deposits. Through this promotion, they can compete and be rewarded for their commitment.”

Points-Based Rewards

Under the promotion, customers earn one point for every GH¢300 deposited, with points accumulating as deposits increase. Dormant accounts of up to two years can also earn points when reactivated. Points are tallied monthly, and top-performing customers are recognised in monthly draws.

At the inaugural draw, ten customers won prizes, including a 75-inch smart television and various household appliances. The grand prize, scheduled for May, will see five customers receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the Americas to watch the Ghana Black Stars in a major international football tournament. Four winners will be selected based on accumulated points, while a fifth will be chosen through a raffle open to all participants.

“This approach reflects our commitment to inclusivity,” Mr. Kamagate noted. “It’s not just about how much a customer deposits—it’s about their relationship with the Bank.”

Driving Engagement and Networking

The Pa To Pa Promo also encourages customer interaction and networking. “Customers from different regions exchanged contacts and shared business ideas today,” Mr. Kamagate said. “This loyalty programme goes beyond transactions, fostering connections among our customers.”

He added that the promotion aligns with GCB’s broader customer engagement strategy as the Bank prepares to celebrate 73 years of operation in May.

Ongoing Rewards

Monthly draws will continue until April, leading up to the grand draw in May. Mr. Kamagate encouraged customers to remain active, maintain accounts, and participate fully to increase their chances of winning.

“The Pa To Pa Promotion is just the beginning,” he said. “It rewards loyalty, strengthens relationships, and makes banking more interactive and engaging for our customers.”
