The Bank of Ghana is likely to sanction DKM Microfinance Company Limited over the firm’s struggles to pay back its customers after a three-month moratorium placed on the company was lifted.

Over 500 customers of the company over the weekend stormed the premises of DKM microfinance, vandalizing their properties and holding workers hostage.

The Bank of Ghana has hinted it may be forced to sanction the company again if it does not fulfill its obligation to its customers.

But Chief Executive Officer of the company Martin Delle in an interview with Starr Business said the customers will soon get their investment back.

“We will definitely attend to each and every individual, all our customers will be served.”
