Inflation for the month of November shot up to 17.6 percent from 17.4 in October.
The drivers for last month’s rise were the non-food inflation rate which include electricity, water, transport and education.
The Upper West region recorded the highest rate of 19.1 percent while the Upper East recorded the lowest inflation rate of 13.0 percent.
Dr. Baah Wadie, the deputy Government Statistician said the year on year non-food inflation rate for November 2015 was 23.2 percent compared with 23.0 percent recorded in October 2015.
He added that the year on year food inflation rate for November 2015 was 7.9 percent compared to 7.8 percent recorded in October this year.
