Stationery depot, Krif Ghana Limited, has introduced onto the Ghanaian market state-of-the art and high technology Olympia money counting machines that can detect both local and foreign fake currencies.
The Olympia money counting machine, from Germany, has the capacity to count dirty currency notes, among others.
The machine has been programmed for the Ghanaian market and with the software to single out the fake currencies when padded.
The machine, according to the dealer, is built to remove the drudgery associated with counting large sums of moneys in the office, at home and other places.
Speaking at the launch of the Olympia money counting machines as part of the German week celebrations in Accra by Krif Ghana Limited, Mr. Kennedy Okosun, the Executive Chairman of Krif Ghana Limited, said the introduction of the machines will assist in clamping down on fake currency market.
He said even the fake currency market had not boomed in Ghana in other jurisdictions it had collapsed economies so there is the need to fight it using technology.
According to him, the fake currency market has boomed over the years but the use of the technology has fast led to its clamp down.
He noted that the introduction of the machines will boost businesses and help eliminate fraudulent practices in the system.
He added that the introduction of the machine means that the company is in to assist business people do business with ease.
He claimed that the machine is to bring to the attention of Ghanaians that Krif Ghana Limited has a lot to offer in the distribution of quality German products.
According to him, when it comes to the supply of quality office equipment the company that must readily come to mind is Krif since it is the house of quality but affordable equipment.
He says his company intends to increase the portfolio of the companies, it had represented over the years from Germany.
Rev. Okosun, who is also a Board member of the Ghanaian –German Economic Association as well as the Chief Executive Officer of Action Chapel International said today products from Germany among the best in Europe.
He said if one makes a list of top manufacturing countries in Europe, Germany will appear in the first five because the country has grown to become the manufacturing hub in Europe.
