Top management personnel of Groupe Nduom will meet from Wednesday January 11th to Sunday January 15th, 2016 to consider results posted in 2016. The session will also enable management to consider opportunities, likely challenges ahead and set performance targets for 2017.
The meeting will take a critical look at the Groupe’s relationship with its customers; how to become more efficient and 2016 financial results. It will also take a look at some structural changes that will include consolidating functions, upgrading/repositioning staff among others.
Management team members will take residence at the Coconut Grove Beach Resort and attend the meeting at the Auditorium of the Nduom School of Business and Technology (NSB&T) all in Elmina.
At a similar strategy meeting in Elmina early last year, Groupe Nduom directors charged the over 50 subsidiaries to consider 2016 as the year of maximum sale of products and services. Managers are therefore expected to share with colleagues and directors how far they prosecuted the Groupe’s agenda and how they overcame challenges.
The Groupe is expected to take into account a practical and realistic assessment of the business environment in the country and work around this year’s theme to accomplish better results. That notwithstanding, Groupe directors are cautioning management team members to take note of the possible challenges that the new year brings and adapt accordingly in order to meet their targets.
Despite the economic difficulties last year, Groupe Nduom continuously invested and demonstrated its confidence in the Ghanaian economy.
Groupe Nduom will discuss what it means to achieve its goal to become a “Best Employer”.
Beyond profits, the Groupe wants to make sure that its employees receive pay commensurate with their performance. The company manages a health insurance, pension and life insurance programme for its employees at no cost to them. It has also initiated an employee housing programme.
The President and Chairman of the Groupe, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom will reiterate at the meeting the need for all Groupe companies to meet statutory obligations including SSNIT payments, payroll taxes, company tax, VAT and Tier 3 pension payments.
Groupe Nduom has business relationships in Liberia, Cote d’Ivoire, Togo, the United Kingdom and the USA. Groupe Nduom brands have been in existence over the past 25 years and operate in Banking, Investments Banking, Private Equity, Brokerage, Pension, Insurance, Real Estates, Media, Education, Manufacturing, Printing, Advertising & Production, Sports and a Foundation that supports the needy in society.
