Life is all about taking risks and adapting to new situations as they come. Nobody knows this better than the professional sports handicapping mastermind Cody Vaujin. The creator of Codycoverspreads, Vaujin has been in the business for a while and has become more than comfortable navigating difficult situations and overcoming hurdles, such as when the COVID-19 pandemic froze the world in its tracks and sports ground to a halt. Without any games taking place, sports handicapping came to a standstill, which meant losing incredible amounts of money. Vaujin, however, was not fazed by this challenge.
“I thought to myself, ‘Okay, this is pretty awful, but I’m sure that there is a way to work around this situation.’ I took the pause on sports as an invitation to be more creative and think of innovative ways to still continue working in the industry,” he says. Cody Vaujin turned to foreign sports. He realized that the pandemic was unfolding at different speeds in various countries, and the fact that college football was suspended in the US didn’t mean that there weren’t sports in Asia. “I became very interested in Korean baseball, so I began doing research and spent quite a bit of time on it. When I was done studying, I was able to make predictions and continue my business and my winning streak,” explains Vaujin. He taught his students how to do the same, effectively helping them push through the desperation of the ensuing pandemic and sports restrictions.
Cody is beloved by his fans, clients, and students. He is celebrated as the “greatest of all time” and serves as a role model for hundreds of thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs worldwide. Vaujin credits his mindset as one of the reasons why he is amassing so many loyal fans so quickly. “I’m an optimistic person, and I love taking risks. I back both of these things up with confidence. What can I say? I believe in myself. Anyone should do that. If you don’t believe in yourself and suffer from impostor syndrome or think that you’ll lose even before you’ve started your projects, then you will lose 100%. The secret is not so secret after all; add a little confidence to everything you do and try to internalize it each and every day,” he advises.
Vaujin has always had an entrepreneurial mindset. When he was in school, he was extremely gifted in mathematics. “I used to sell candy bars out of a tackle box on the golf course. I’ve wanted to be involved in business and generate a profit since I can remember,” he recalls.
Even though the world keeps changing constantly, Vaujin is ready to tackle any hardship or difficulty that may come his way. He has big plans for Codycoverspreads, and his brand keeps growing and evolving. His fans are hungry for more content and advice, and Cody is happy to serve as a mentor.
