GOIL Consolidates Lead in LP Gas

The leading Oil and Gas brand and the most successful indigenous oil marketing company in Ghana, GOIL says it is consolidating its lead as a pioneer in the liquefied petroleum Gas business.

Currently, GOIL aside making great strides in the bunkering industry which is the fueling of vessels, through the construction of marine gas oil tanks in the takoradi port, has a total of 50 LP gas filling plants in the country and it is targeting 60 gas stations running and operating by the close of 2016.

Government of Ghana through the Ministry of Petroleum has come up with a gas master plan for the country in the medium to long term but GOIL says it has already initiated a project to align itself with the master plan for the ultimate benefit of its shareholders.

The LPG Manager of GOIL, Isaac William Mensah said attendants are trained to sensitize consumers of LPG on safety measures in order to avert disasters.

He said GOIL takes delight in the fact that no GOIL sponsored LPG station has had any explosion and this he attributed to the conscious efforts by the GOIL team to ensure highest health, safety, and environment standards at all their petroleum product retail outlets including gas filling plants.
