MultiChoice Ghana (MCG), Africa’s leading pay television operator, has partnered Samsung mobile to bring DSTV facilities closer to users of Samsung S8 and Plus mobile phones.

The partnership will enable users of Samsung S8 Plus and Samsung S8 to download DSTV applications onto their mobile phones to enjoy television programmes even outside their homes.

The partnership will also afford customers, who purchase any of the two mobile phones, access to a free Zapper High Definition (HD) decoder with a DSTV bundle offer worth GHC50 for two months.

Essentially, the deal offers Samsung mobile phones users access to bouquets of DSTV programmes on their Samsung android devices in all parts of the country.

Speaking at the launch of the deal in Accra recently, Kingsley Afful, GoTV Manager at MultiChoice Ghana, said DSTV applications can be downloaded onto the Samsung (S8) mobile phone to further offer customers the luxury to keep up with their programmes even out of their homes.

On his part, Tetteh Akunnor, Product Manager for Samsung Mobile Ghana, said the offer is only for S8 and S8 plus users.

He said the very moment customers purchase the Samsung 8 and plus mobile phone, the DSTV- Zapper mobile application will be downloaded onto the phone for their enjoyment.

He noted that the Samsung 8 is being sold at all Samsung outlets and partner outlets across the country.

The S8 is being sold for GHC3,500 while the S8–Plus is going for GHC3,990 throughout the country as part of the partnership with MCG.
