MTN urges SMEs to take advantage of technology

Small and Medium Enterprises(SMEs) in the Brong Ahafo Region have been advised to take advantage of technology to grow their businesses.

General Manager, Northern Sector for telecom giant, MTN, James Bukari Basintale made the call at the maiden MTN Business fair for SMEs in Sunyani.

The business fair was under the theme: “Enabling and inspiring growth in the SME sector”.

The objective was to introduce SMEs to MTN’s innovative technologies which they could use to grow their businesses.

Bukari Basintale noted that MTN will continue to support SMEs in the Brong Ahafo region and the rest of the country to develop.

He revealed that through research, MTN is bringing out cutting edge technological solutions to promote the growth of SMEs in the country.

“MTN Ghana is committed to improving the business operations of SMEs. In our new world where technologies drive everything , we at MTN keep researching and coming up with innovative solutions to boost the competitiveness of our SMEs in their drive towards building and enhancing their business,”

For his part, Mohammed Abubakari-Sadick, Senior Manager, SME and Public Sector, advised car owners to use MTNs car tracking device to track and protect their cars.

Organizations that participated in the business fair included, Sinapi Aba, Prudential Life Insurance, National Communication Authority (NCA), Fidelity Bank and Forum Ghana.
