The Management and staff of the Ghana Community Network Services (GCNet) have held their fifth annual thanksgiving service to appreciate God for successful business operations in 2017.

The event was also used to thank staff of GCNet for dedicated service, which enabled the company to provide excellent services to its clients as well as support in trade facilitation and revenue mobilisation efforts.

This years’ service was under the theme, “Thanksgiving and Praise.”

In his brief welcome remarks, Dr Nortey Omaboe, Executive Chairman, thanked all stakeholders for their support, which enabled GCNet deliver excellent services to its clients and the nation within the past year, and promised continued collaboration this year.

“We manage the lifeblood of the economy (revenue), and it is by divine intervention that the goals we set for ourselves are achieved,” Dr. Omaboe observed.

The Deputy Managing Director of GCNet, Mr. Emmanuel Darko remarked that the Lord had done a lot for the company and therefore they had an “obligation to give glory to Him for His intervention in making the difference in our line of work.”

He said GCNet was ready to collaborate with the Ghana Revenue Authority to realise this year’s revenue target of over GHC39 billion and reiterated GCNet’s commitment to deploying new innovative e-applications to remain a trusted partner in national development.

The service took place at the premises of the company in Accra two Fridays ago and was attended by the Board, Management and staff of GCNet, representatives from the Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana, Importers and Exporters Association of Ghana, Ecobank Ghana, and SGS Ghana among other stakeholders.
