Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, parent company of the Ecobank Group, its Ivorian subsidiary Ecobank Côte d’Ivoire, Public Investment Corporation (PIC), Dr Dan Matjila and Mr Thierry Tanoh, have signed on the 18th of February, 2016, an agreement for the settlement of the disputes that have existed since 2013, some of which are still pending before national jurisdiction in Togo and Côte d’Ivoire and/or are still under arbitration in England.

This agreement brings to an end all proceedings that have arisen between Mr Tanoh and the other parties, a statement issued by Econbank on Friday February 19 said.

“Ecobank Transnational Incorporated and Ecobank Côte d’Ivoire are delighted that all of the issues, which have unfortunately arisen over the past few years with Mr Tanoh, have now been resolved and that the parties have found a solution that is in the interest of all.

“Ecobank Transnational Incorporated and Ecobank Côte d’Ivoire thank Mr Tanoh for his constructive and conciliatory approach taken in the interest of the pan-African group during the recent discussions.

“Mr Tanoh is also very pleased that an agreement has been reached, and that all misunderstandings between him and the Ecobank Group have been resolved. Each party wishes the very best to the other,” the statement said.
