Reports reaching ClassFMonline.com have it that the governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Abdul-Nashiru Issahaku, has resigned from his post.

It is, however, unclear why he has quit.

He was appointed by former President John Dramamni Mahama on Friday, 1 April 2016 after his predecessor Dr Henry Kofi Wampah retired.
